Prof. Majed Abu Zrieg, Joins “Enhancing Stability in Cross-Border Water Resources Scarcity Conditions” Conference

The Water Diplomacy Center (WDC) actively participated in the "Enhancing Stability in Cross-Border Water Resources Scarcity Conditions - Central Asia Model" international conference. Prof. Majed Abu Zreig, WDC Director, addressed the audience, highlighting the organization's vital mission as the regional hub for water diplomacy in the Middle East and North Africa.​

The conference was hosted by Samarkand State University in collaboration with esteemed institutions, including the American Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, and the Universities of California and Oklahoma. It brought together over 50 scholars from various nations and prominent organizations to discuss critical issues related to cross-border water resources, cooperation, and science-based solutions

The WDC reaffirms its commitment to fostering international collaboration and responsible water resource management.
